“I’m so grateful to announce that I have reclassified to the Class of ’25,” McGill shared on X. “I plan to take my first snap this fall, Sept. 1, in the backfield with the Tar Heels! Thank you.”

According to 247Sports, McGill is rated the No. 8 player in South Carolina for the class of 2025 and has received an impressive 31 college offers. Initially committed to Rutgers in February, he decommitted just three weeks later.
